Did you get the BHF HF ‘bible’ from the hospital? I found that invaluable in the early days. It is a shock getting a diagnosis like that and takes some adjusting to. 2 yrs on my levels are up and I do feel much better - although still can get v tired. Also do you have a HF nurse allocated to you? Mine has been very helpful and I see her fairly regularly for check ups.
The suggested food is just healthy eating (well we all know what we should be doing!) and cutting down on fluids.
It’s very easy to feel isolated just from exhaustion with HF so I have made a point of keeping up with my friends once I was well enough. I work mainly from home now as I find it physically exhausting actually being there.
We have 2 dogs so have to get out every day to walk them!
