Went for my initial Rehab meeting yesterday. So as from this week I will do 3 hours of rehab per week. On a Tuesday I will do an hours Aerobics and on Thursdays I will do an hour Aerobics and an hour mindfulness class. The good thing for me was I got to speak to the nurse about wee pains and twinges I have been getting in my heart and she advised it can take up to 10 weeks for your heart to get over the prodding from the procedure so I am finding that I am panicking less if I feel a twinge. They seemed pretty positive so who knows play my cards right with this one and I might survive 3 years and see in my 50th 🤪😂🙏

Hi Jinky
I really enjoyed rehab and since 'graduating' I'm afraid that I've become a bit of a gym fanatic going at least three times a week, which at 64 was something I'd never thought I'd say!
There are guys at the gym class who've been going for 15+ years post heart problems, so I think and hope that your three years will be a doddle.
Good luck and keep going
D
I’ve survived just over 2 years with my 50th in a year so I also hope to get there 😁. I have always exercised & gone to gym since my teens, didn’t do me much good!
The rehab classes really helped me psychologically as at time I was very anxious. The twinges aches and pains plaque me, at least you got an explanation!
I still get odd aches but been to A&E loads and always all clear but stress tested by cardiologist. So I just try and ignore them. Though must say when they niggle me it brings back the anxiety to an extent.
Good luck and enjoy.
Hi I found Rehab to be the best thing that happened to me , as mentioned above I was very anxious and scared at the time but the rehab gave me the confidence to start my journey back to some sort of health.
I am 7 years from my 50th and fully expect to make that providing we stick on the right track
I think aches , pains and niggles are a part of the process we all seem to get them in some form or another hopefully time and rehab will help you work out which are serious and which are not.
Good luck on your journey
