Normal Sunday night routine would have been school uniforms ready then chilling with a glass of vino.

Two weeks on and I’m sitting filing up a pill box with my weekly allowance of tablets. 47 and feel buggered 😢

Almost snap apart from school uniform. I've got a pill box they are a brilliant idea. I get confused with all my tabs x

Do we all get pill boxes? I did as well after op to cope with number of tablets. Good thing is that, at least, filling once a week gives you a chance to check tablet supply level in plenty time to get more.

Ah, fasting bloods tomorrow, 4 phials, 12 tests, the joy of being a human dartboard.

My first night in hospital the nurse had said to me she would recommend getting a pill box wondered why she was saying that now when I’m popping 9 tablets in the morning I know why

School uniforms now a lng time ago. I do my pill box on a Saturday morning - more time 🙂.

Sunday evening is for putting out the rubbish and recycling. That leaves me buggered 😂

Can you ask a neighbour to help you put the bins out? I found neighbours were glad to be able to help me when I need it

The tablets scare me as there is so may. I made the mistake of reading up on them all and it really put the frighteners to me. But know they are needed. I’ve decided to give good a wild berth just now as I’ve had myself developing dementia and everything because I saw the word Beta protein 😂😂

Pill box Sunday morning after taking the dogs out then a cuppa and a nice relax before starting again. only 42 tabs a week for me, soon to reduce down after 1 year of taking Ticagrelor.

You can still enjoy the glass of vino tho :)

Yet another needle 😂

In Australia our pharmacists have an app called MedAdvisor that allows tracking of meds and scripts, ordering etc - its brilliant and was developed by BUPA which I think is British. Its free and the pharmacist gives you a code for the app so that it connects to their dispensing system.

I give talks on heart health and since my first surgery in 2006 have taken over 26000 tablets. This fact always amuses.

I don’t even know what they have here this is the first time I’ve been on pills apart from the odd antibiotic. Something I’ll look in to

(UK based) some doctors have a 'patient access' website based scheme where you can electronically order repeat prescriptions, book appts etc. Read on teletext recently that NHS are either trialling an area or rolling out nationwide (can't remember which) a very similar scheme. So if we wait a bit we should all have this facility.

In my area we have one and if I see on Saturday morning when I do my pills that I need more I can use my phone to order the repeat. I still allow about a week for it all to go through the system though.

I am in Scotland and my surgery uses patient access. Really handy for ordering meds and booking appointments

Hi I’m in Scotland too checked with my GP today and they use it as well got a code and registered tonight and I can now book appointments and order prescriptions. No more stress at 8:30 trying to get through on the phone to get an appointment. I’ve also registered the kids. Thanks Serg12 I had never even heard of this until you said..

Glad to help

Do your pills earlier then you've got all night to drink.Yahoo.

Advice, don't read about your pills or your condition, just keep fit and have fun.

advice, dont drink wine after meds! some meds will be to lower heart rate, dilate arteries, lower heart demand etc.

Wine also lowers heart rate, dilates arteries, lowers heart demand etc.

Preaching over, l take my meds between 10 and 11 am and pm. If I fancy a beer l have one at around 5-6pm. If l know im going to hit the wine, not very often these days, l leave off the night meds.

Personally l think having a blow out every now and again is needed.

I take most of my pills at 8 am.Just a statin at 10pm and feel good.Especially after wine. X
