I downloaded this it’s a digital magazine from the American Heart Association.

Lots of interesting reading and a good free resource if your interested in your condition.

Worth a look.

Heart Insight has been serving heart patients and their families for over ten years. Now a digital-only publication, it’s not only available in an easy to navigate digital edition, but as a free app on the smartphone or tablet of your choice. All articles as well as other helpful resources and information are also available for free on the Heart Insight website. And when you sign up with your email, you’ll also receive the Heart Insight e-News monthly newsletter for free between quarterly issues.

Your welcome. I am travelling home after a month away back at work on Saturday. I should return to a book I ordered sometime ago.

Is a proper book regarding cardiac issues written for doctors and patients. However regarding the online magazine I think it’s interesting to see how other systems deal with the issue.

Sometimes I think they are ahead of our system especially where supplements are concerned. But behind in thing like equality of care.

Certainly I don’t have to think about the cost of my prescriptions, although am sure NICE consider these issues in the background.

Regards. M

Yes I think you’re right about the equality of care. But as you say worth a look to compare different approaches. I’m a lay member on a NICE guideline committee for stroke. Whilst cost obviously has to be considered it is only after all of the most up to date research has been reviewed. It’s been a valuable learning opportunity. This is such a great site for sharing information. Thanks. Zena
