I wore mine for at least 6 weeks , did wear it to Heathrow airport and got some funny looks !! I personally wouldn’t do that again lol was scared security would pounce on me xx

Also when out in the shops people give you a wide access as they can visually see something wronged which is helpful as I was anxious about being bumped xx

Hi wore my vest for 6 weeks

Had it fitted just after I came round. Hated it, didn’t know how I was going to do 6 wks, but after 48 hrs it became part of me. When I was home I use to undo the front for a few hours while sat watching tv. My sternum healed beautifully and it definitely helps when you cough or sneeze 🤧

Loved looking at peoples faces when out , had security follow me on few occasions , having my mobile tucked in the top didn’t help 😂.Kaz❤️💕💖

I didn't have one and wasn't offered one and was fine, but can see the advantages especially if you sneeze or cough. My incision and sternum have healed up fine despite not having one.

Where I had my operation we were not offered one, and my sternum has healed just fine, didn't know they even existed. Karen
