Had an MI 3 yrs ago age 49, had three stents inserted. Not a single problem since, but in last few weeks have been breathless on minimal exertion. Anyone else experienced this?

Hey there, I would advise you go and see your GP or even A&E could be many things but with your history I think you should go and get it checked out please

Take care Mark

Hi, I had an MI and CA in 2015 so about the same time. I had a Myocardial Perfusion Scan in

Autumn 2017 and no problems. Might be worth asking for one.

GP may not want to spend the money but insist.

It can be a bit scary since like pressure testing a boiler but there is an up side, you can eat fried bread while killing an hour between injection and scan. :-)

As a result of this I met with my GP and told him I was coming off all meds. He balked at that but I feel a lot better and go for 16 mile walks again. I'm 54. You are in charge of your health. If they know you have researched then they are less inclined to flannel you.

It must be bad day if the upside is eating fried bread - disgusting stuff 😩

"Fried bread - This is only acceptable when dripping in oil or butter, and as a centrepiece in a big plate served with items such as baked beans, fried mushrooms, bacon and hash browns."You have my sympathies....;-)
