Hi everyone I would like more to find out information about my condition.

I have a condition called super ventricular tachycardia and I’m waiting for an ablation, soon I hope, is it normal to feel short of breath now and again on and off different times of the day?

Hi

Welcome to the forum where you will find a lot of ‘hearties’ willing to try and help with your problems - a problem shared etc! Please note that we are not medic (for the most part) so we cannot diagnose conditions, but we can share our experiences and offer advice.

So, to your question. There is a lot of info on the web but be selective, try and stick to the medically reviewed sites like British Heart Foundation the American heart organisation, webmd, Mayo clinic, Wikipedia and anything from the NHS. Try to avoid patient lead sites, especially US ones and avoid sites from anyone trying to sell you something!

I’m sure others with your specific condition will reply with their experiences over the next day or so

Hi Steve

Thank you for your advice, I’m really glad I found this forum I’ve found reading other comments very helpful. It’s nice to read that you are feeling better since you’re operation.
