just at the end of my tether.....

Long absence from here whilst I continue to try & fight this virus ???. Anyone else had a sore throat & swollen glands for 2 months ??. Despite best efforts of my GP, hardly any relief despite use of antibiotics, steroid nose spray & saliva stimulating pastilles. To add to this, am now experiencing acute cystitis first thing in the morning - excruciating pain.....I am drinking cranberry juice for England & loads of water & it does ease after a couple of hours. GP said wait 2 weeks before going back to him, but luckily I do have MOT appointment with the Practice Nurse on Tuesday & can offload to her then. I have a sneaking suspicion that these symptoms could be a flare up of the Sjogrens Syndrome all round. But it's a bummer when you can't take anti inflammatories because of your heart medications. Sorry to keep on ! Will keep you posted.....

hello berylsmum, you really are going through the wars aren't you? I hope somehow you recover soon and the nurses are able to help. Have you tried steaming? Hot water, not too hot and teetree or menthol crystals
