ICD Carelink downloads

Hi,

I have an ICD carelink home monitor. The last download date on it says mid June, previously it said last December, yet I haven't heard anything from the clinic (at Manchester) in that time as to whether that was a standard download (6-monthly remote checkups) or if it was triggered by an event.

I'm assuming all is well as otherwise I guess they would have called, and letter sending at Mcr can be really bad sometimes.

Just wondering if anyone had noticed the download date change and not heard anything for a while? Got a separate appointment soon so can check there.

Cheers, Andrew.

Hi Andrew

The ICD clinic will have the download details so you could always give them a call to see whether it was just a routine download or a triggered one. I hope that offers some reassurance :)
