Feeling a little guilty!

Hi all..having read a few of the posts I must admit to feeling a little bit of a fraud, in comparison, my problem seems very small. I was diagnosed with angina about 18 months ago, by chance really, as I had been experiencing pain between my shoulder blades, breathlessness when walking my dog and exhaustion during the day. Long story short, I was diagnosed, and over time have been put on quite a few drugs which really help me lead a pretty normal life, except for the constant breathlessness. I have had COPD tests and am clear, and have just had a myocardial perfusion stress test, which was not pleasant, and also the same test without stressing the heart. I am at present awaiting the results. I already know from previous tests that my heart doesn't relax properly, so may be the reason for the breathlessness. I suppose I was just wondering if anyone on this site has the same problem and how they cope, as before this diagnosis, I really enjoyed walking, and now find it more of a chore than a pleasant experience, which is a little depressing.

Wishing you all a great day.

Jo

Being diagnosed with anything is traumatic for anyone, so don't feel guilty when you read ther people's stories.

Thanks for your reply...didn't mention that I have had both legs ballooned quite a few years ago and during that procedure they found I had a AAA as well which is being monitored. It just seems that everything takes so long to diagnose...how ru?

Progressing slowly, but I'm well physically for the most part, but still living each day as it comes. I try doing little craft activities which is a great distraction, its funny I discovered a new talent creating stuff.

8 months in after a heart attack and quad bypass getting stronger every day. Still some tough days, some emotional roller coaster days but loving life and even enjoying work again lol
