Hi everyone, just getting over a flare up of mouth ulcers and genital ulcers can anyone tell me if the ulcers down below bleed?

Hi depends on what you mean by bleed. Sometimes if I accidentally wipe or clean too hard there can be a little blood where I have caught an ulcer, also if underwear or trousers too tight and rubbing. If you mean bleeding like a cut then perhaps you should ask a doctor, I am a BD sufferer for 26 years and never suffered bleeding down below but almost always in the mouth, lips and nose. Hope this helps

Without going into it too much just got ulcers non painful on labia (groce) which caused a bloody discharge, I realised once looking at dates its my period sorry if this is too much info, I have had a swab and blood tests all normal just waiting for my referral to hosp. Thank you for your reply. Its nice to have other people who understand xx

I have had bloody mucous-like discharge come out of many different places because of this nasty disease. I've had it come out of my nose, ears, I've even coughed up bloody mucous several times, out of my urethra with or without urine, out of my vagina, and backside. I also get mucous drainage from my eyes, but never bloody. For me, this is normal and I just put it to my ulcers in these different places breaking open or trying to heal. I get this terrible burning pain that can start stabbing and shooting wherever I have ulcers and lesions, and I can get it anywhere from my skin, to down my throat, deep inside my chest, in my GI tract/abdomen, and down below. That's why I just assume for me, this discharge is from the ulcers. Also, as Billi had said, I sometimes also can bleed a bit more down below if I wipe too hard on raw ulcers.

Ps. Do you have a Clenil steroid inhaler .......used to spray/ puff on ulcers anywhere. Use several puffs, at least 3/4 times a day at onset reducing as ulcers heal. BYe for now!!!

Hi ive had bd over 20yrs my ulcers bleed down below quiet a lot ,they are so painful when I pass water .Hope this helps you .
