I am heartbroken last summer I came out in open sores on my Virginia I went to doctor & they took a swob couple days later confirmed I had herpes am diabetic so my amun system rubbish so am getting theses sores offern I feel like am only person with them am so down in depressed can I please talk to someone am 26:

You’re certainly not alone! It’s very common just people don’t walk around telling everyone they have it, it doesn’t make you any less normal! I still have the odd wobble as I’m an overthinker and have anxiety so some days I overthink the whole thing but I have a boyfriend who I had to tell about it and he was very understanding! Just don’t go googling it as that’s what I done and scared myself to false understanding, you’ll be just fine x

I hate going to doctors they look at me look am dirty I try talk to them about it & they seem to be like not botherd am glad you found a partner that under that's I hope I get that one day I been to emotionally get over it Thank for your reply means a lot x

Don’t ever feel like you’re dirty, you doctor could even have herpes! I had a flu jab at the hospital yesterday and told them I occasionally take acyclovir and she asked why and I said herpes and that was it no more questions asked, she never looked at me funny at all, sexual health clinics know how common it is, they really won’t think any different they see this everyday x
