Hi everyone, my 5 week old has over the last 2 days suffered really badly with constipation. It’s heart breaking watching him struggle so much.
We have had one dirty nappy (and a few wet farts!)
I have been rubbing his belly, doing the bicycles motion legs, what else can I do to help him? At 5 weeks I feel very limited.
If he gets to 2-3 days with no dirty nappy then I will be taking him to the doctors.

How much is he drinking? Is it formula or breast milk?My daughter took a while to get her system going and used to get bouts of constipation and tummy aches. I agree, heartbreaking cos all you want to do is help!
Hi, he’s literally just transitioning over to formula so I was expecting some issues bless him. He’s having between 120ml - 150ml every 3-4 hours. He’s had little poo’s but nothing like he should. Now hasn’t poo’d since yesterday morning (12 hours) farting like there’s no tomorrow though 😂
