Sensitive - working in a hospital pregnant

Hi

Any one who is early stages of pregnancy? Are you still working with full patient contact? I’m due to have a meeting with work to discuss options after the bank holiday. Im not sure what to do for the best.

Thanks

Hi, I don’t work in a hospital but I’m a community nurse with full patient contact. I’m wearing full PPE to every patient and triaging my visits so not seeing anyone with symptoms or positive covid swab. I know of a few nurses who have moved wards as they are high risk areas. Hope your meeting goes ok x

Thanks for your reply. When I briefly spoke to my manger she was supportive and pretty much suggested the same. I could maybe just see patients on clear wards with no symptoms. I think working from home for the whole pregnancy would drive me mad 🙈 Xxx
