3 tests, driving an automatic, loads of lessons-treated it as a hobby.

Would computer simulator help?

Hi, I have Aspergers & have held a full driving licence since just before my 19th birthday. I tried taking hour long lessions once a week initially but when it came to taking my test I failed twice (owing to my taking things literally such as 'stop when you hit the fence').

So I left it a couple of months & then did an intensive course over 3days with my test at the end of the 3rd day. Day 2 my instructor said to me that I knew all I needed to but I was still driving like a learner, what I had to do was drive like a driver (I needed to confidence). So day 3 I went into the car telling myself I already my licence & was simply driving a friend & needed their directions, it worked & I passed that afternoon.
