Does anyone know of meet ups in Edinburgh for Kids with autism.??

Hi I'm son is 6 and we find ourselves a lone a lot as people don't get him very well or say he is weird because of his autism. Would really like to find him some friends. Thanks

im donna but don't live in Edinburgh im afraid.I have a 14 year son and a son 6yr son and both have autism.I find myself alone a lot of time.My 6 yr old find the social side hard esp with strange people.we do get funny looks when we out as people don't no them .I hope you find him friends just thought let you no I no how you feel

Thanks for replying. Pity U don't live in Edinburgh. Yeah we get all the looks too. Can be annoying. I am alone most of the time can be lonely. Its good to know someone knows what im talking about. I'm here if you ever fancy wee chat. X

yes it can get lonely so I no that feeling.Yes shame I don't live in Edinburgh.I live in place called Moffat. people here very clicky and don't talk. It more of tourist place and hard especially in holidays to find things for kids to do . Do you just have the 1 child?.

I don't drive and I can't go too far by bus as my little one doesn't like travel too far so furthest I go is Dumfries.
