you have to remember that each child is different. We have twins with Asd . 1 will mix with others, the other chooses not to.It wasn't always this way either they both use to do well with others. Also they seem to cycle, they have their bad moments at school during the winter months ,they get antsy quick tempered etc.Their sensory processing just goes right out of whack. I have know since they were brought home from the hospital they were different then our other children. Thats when my search began. They were finally diagnosed with ASD 3 years ago They are 14 now.. Another point With An asd Diagnosis if u are strapped for money you can get SSI for your son which can be used to help with household expenses buying his clothes his entertainment etc.Research is helpful. Autism Society is a good source if info. Autism Speaks is another. I Hope this helps u out.

our twins are on an amended day at school, they only go for 4 hours per day, even though 1 is more social they don't tolerate noise bright lights. They are is a special class room most of their time,no it is not the resource room. the room is geared for sensory issues and belongs to the behavioral spec.she coaches and teaches them as with a few other students.if you start to run into issues with school a special needs advocate is a good way to go as well.we have had one as well. good luck with your new journey into the wonderful unique world of Autism

Good luck. It's a bit of a hard thing to research because each child is different. There will be symptoms they have and symptoms they don't. We didn't even suspect ASD until my daughter had a breakdown and developed OCD. Now in retrospect it is easy to see how it effects even the little things in life. She did struggle socially, has sensory stuff and physical limitations. A diagnosis helps you work with their strengths and weaknesses. I don't know how old your child is but it helped our daughter understand her differences and embrace them ..

The children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) have symptoms like social skill impairment with lack of verbal communication. So, they need behavioral interventions to improve their social skill disabilities.

As you said your son calmed down at school so it is very good for your son. Contacts with other batch mates made his social skill better.

But for quick improvement you must choose HBOT oxyhealth.com/hyperbaric_th... (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) which can provide 100% pure oxygen with higher atmospheric pressure to repair the neuron cells and brain tissues. It can make the responses faster in your son.

My Grand son is ASD but he is an only son. My daughter & son in law don't have other siblings to compare him with. So they insist he is like very other child. He is not. He is 4 now. I'm battling for him daily.

I'm the health care assistant at a college that specialises in autism and some of our students are very socialable, outgoing young people. There's a mix of autistic traits and someone with ASD may not display all the symptoms that are generally considered autistic. Each person is unique just like those without.
