Steep hills
I have this issue, and with stairs too, luckily I referred myself to my local equipment and adaptations service who have since installed me a stair lift fitted me a wet room and put on a path from my front door to an accessible exit, I use a stick to walk with, and go down very slowly, if I am local I use my scooter where necessary, I can't give you any other solution unfortunately however, I'd appreciate it if anyone has any ideas too please xxx
For me, it just has to be a slight incline and I struggle. I can tell if a floor in a room is not level! Going uphill isn't a problem but any downward slope is difficult. I use a rollator too, so have to hold that back along with myself. Seems like I am not alone - any tips?
I have exactly the same problem so I am interested to hear anything that anyone has to say, it is that feeling of falling forward that is really disconcerting. A while back I broke my ankle falling down my stairs so they actually terrify me now and it seems because I live in an old Victorian terrace with a narrow stair case I cant even get a sit down stair lift fitted as I am too tall!!
I am have the same problem, I can manage to go upstairs but cannot go down at all. Luckily we live in a flat with a lift, but I can't even see my grandaughters new bedroom as it is upstairs.
I find this hard on any uneven ground. I used to find it hard walking up banks because of drop foot my foot does not bend upwards, so I used to walk up backwards and sideways. I do not walk much now outdoors I use a power chair and scooter. Maybe canes would help.

Neuro physio made me walk down a slope!! I was so scared but I bloomin did it after 2.5 years! Apparently we train our brain saying we cant do it so we have to reverse that instruction. Its v hard but give it a go if u under a physio 👍
