So sorry to hear.....you do have you hands full! First I've heard of this type of ataxia but there are so many different kinds and our challenges are great. It does help talking and listening on this site.

It devastating hearing a diagnosis that will forever change your life. I have my rotten days too but try to find 2 things i can do for every one i cant. Its a real challenge but i try and stick with it. As well as ataxia i also deal with osteoporosis and double vision and can no longer drive. Losing independance is something we all fear.

I hope being on this forum will help you as much as it helps me.
