Hi Pennypoop

Thank you for your question. Do you have a known heart condition?

Had all the monitors and ecgs but only ever been told I have slight Tackicardia. These episodes seem to be getting more frequent, and I'm now wondering if they could be side effect of taking Nexium

Hi Pennypoop

I would strongly advise going back to your GP, particularly as the episodes are becoming more frequent.

I was apparently born with an heart arrythmia, that got really bad after I gave birth to my daughter. My heart would start to race for no reason. Eventually I had a cardia ablaision, where the cardiologist went into the electrical system of my heart, found the electrical pathway that was causing the arrythmia. Then that pathway was heat-treated to get rid of the pathway. I have had no problems since, and it's been 20 years. ;o)
