Has anyone lost or gained weight with zolair

I have been on Xolair for 2.5 years. When I first started I was still having asthma flairs and on and off prednisone. Fall of 2016 - April 2017, I was was on daily prednisone and gained 20 more lbs (9kg). Then the Xolair seemed to kick in and I was off prednisone until Oct. Then I was off prednisone until Monday, Jan 2019! Since being on Xolair and off prednisone I have gotten rid of 50 lbs! (22.7kg)!! It was with the help of tracking my food and eating less.... On purpose.

Are you having problems either way? Up or down?

Xolair didn't seem to change my weight at all. It was the pred that did. I was able to lose a lot of weight by lowering pred while on Xolair but when pred went up so did my weight.
