Asthma back?

Hi!

from the ages of 7 to about 14 I had pretty bad asthma, even ER visits as most inhalers were ineffective for me. When I did find one that worked it was great, later I would use it less and less frequently. At about 19 years of age I think I stopped using it altogether.

from 19 to now 28 I had no asthma symptoms at all.

Recently I got shortness of breath after sports and had to find my old inhaler again. Then this week I get an attack out of the blue. I am worried now, is it back? Or might there be some other temporary condition causing this?

I am going to see the doc tomorrow, as the inhaler I still have expired around 2007. (still worked though).
