New job

Yay! I just had a call from my new boss, and I finally start my new job a week today! Only 11 weeks since the interview... lol!

I'm really excited, but also pretty nervous, since I haven't worked since August, but I can't wait to get started!

That's great,Piglet. I'm sure you'll be brillant and I hope you enjoy every minute!

Well this is good for you let wait for the response.

Was it your first day yesterday? Hope it went well!!! X

My first day went well :) and today was my 2nd day, and that was good too :) It's a flexible job - I don't have to be in the office all the time, they are perfectly happy for me to work from home, which I think will be brilliant for times when I am not so well. They seem very willing to work with me and support me with my mental health, so it's very nice not to feel I have to hide it.

It's right next to the city pool and Turkish baths, so after work on a Monday I'm going to go swimming, and on a Thursday after work I'm going to the Turkish baths :)

I went swimming this lunchtime, and apparently I am more unfit than I thought!

That all sounds fab and a great supportive environment into the mix, woop woop!!!

Glad its going well and health benefits too ;-)

X

The job's good :) Getting on well with the boss, and getting to grips with everything that needs to be done.

I'm finding it tiring though on the days I go in but I guess that'll take time.

Piglet, it's great that you're enjoying the job and I'm sure that you'll get used to it soon and stop feeling quite so tired. Having said that, I nearly fell asleep at my desk this afternoon so I'm not really qualified to say!

wahey so pleased for you, im sure it will take time for you, try your best to take regular breaks and lots of fresh air when possible just to keep you going!!
