Broncoscopy after effects?

Not sure if my head is playing tricks on me now but since I had broncoscopy 3 weeks ago I find a have spasmodic coughing fits that feel as though someone is trying to put a tube down my throat, Daft I know but how do a get rid of that feeling. This coupled with the fact that throat still sore and ears still afftected as well not a happy bunny. Am I losing the plot?
