Just back from seeing Snowy

Hi everyone

Lewis wanted to tell you all thanks and that he has now seen his mum, she has now been stable for nearly 15 hours, although that in itself only means we have had no more setbacks! there has been no real improvement as yet.

He said he has been blown away by how many lovely messages and such great support he got and said thanks to everyone!

It was very important for him to see her today as the last time he did when it all kicked off I know he thought he would never see her again, and to be honest neither did I., at least now he can rest a bit easier knowing she's still with us, and looks more peacfull.

I will go back to the hospital for a bit and then might actually come home tonight as ive been there almost constantly since Fri and exhausted.

Thanks for all your well wishes and messages.

Alex

Hugs to you and Lewis Alex. Hope things start to improve soon. Thanks for keeping us posted.

Thanks for the update, Alex. It must be incredibly hard to have to find the words to tell people when things are so difficult and you're so tired. You and Lewis are just incredible, and I'm so glad that you're taking comfort and support from this forum. There are so many people here that care about Snowy, and about you, her family. I bet it would be quite an incredible sight if you could actually see all the good wishes directed towards all of you right now!

I'm really glad to hear that things are not deteriorating, and that you and Lewis have been able to spend time with Snowy without the fear of having the crash team running around and doing things to her. Now we just need her to turn that corner and start coming back to herself!

Sending love to all of you - please continue to keep us updated when you can, look after yourselves with plenty of rest, and do ask for help if you need it. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love to be able to do something (anything) to help!

Jo

All my love to you all and hope every day she gets stronger and hope of vent next few days xxxx

Thanks for the update Alex. You must be shattered. Been thinking about Lewis a lot today - I have a son of the same age. Lewis sounds a lovely lad and my heart goes out to him and your family. Do hope and pray Snowy improves. xx

Good news she been stable for a while and im glad lewis had the chance to see her again. When it was a more peaceful time, as it must have been quite frightening seeing her with a resus team. I hope you all have a more restful night and theres more good news tomorrow.

sj xx

Great news! I hope Snowy continues to improve and will soon make a full recovery.
