Best paint to use when paint is an asthma trigger

Hi

Please can someone recommend what type of paint to use to paint (a) woodwork (b) walls in a bedroom? When I used paint before and I can't remember which sort my mum had quite a bad asthmatic reaction so wondered if there was a particular type (easy to get hold of) that I could use which was allergy-sensitive. Also if I close the door of the room being painted am hoping she might not smell it as it's not a room she really goes in. Grateful for any advice.
