4 year old and swine flu jab

hello hope all is well with everybody. quick question my 4 year old nephew has had his swine flu jab today and he is now crying with backache and has a temp, rang nhs and they say it is quite normal to have a temp which i knew that.hing happen t but quite worried about pain in back has anybody else had same to them xxxxx Jill xxx

personally my jab was very painful (i had normal jab in the other arm at the same time and barely felt a thing in that arm!) and it swelled up and ached like mad. very uncomfortable and lasted about 48 hours in the end, so i can see why it would upset a young'n. However that said, if he is really worrying you or gets worse through the night make sure you ring NHS direct back for futher advice or to get him seen by a dr

p.s. i take it you've tried calpol to ease the pain/temp?

Both of my children had the jab on tues, 9yr old whos asthmatic, woke with really bad headaches and temper on weds morning just gave him calpol. have noticed hes got a rash but not sure if its from the jab or not. My 5 yr whos got a heart condition only started with temp and headache yesterday, but is fine now. They havent said anything out the arms hurting.
