Spacer technique

Hi, hoping for help!

My nurse has told me to take four breaths in and out through my spacer for each puff of inhaler. This generally isn't a problem with my preventer but sometimes when I need my reliever I just don't seem to have enough puff to get the out breath back into the inhaler. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there an alternative technique I can use?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

Sharon
