..............................DOGS WELCOME...........................................

A MAN wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Cornwall village that he planned to visit on holiday.

He wrote''I would very much like to bring my dog with me.He is well-groomed and very well behaved.Would you be willing to permit me to keep in my room with me at night?''

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who wrote:SIR:''I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware,or pictures off the walls.

I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out without paying the bill.

Yes,indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel.

And if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here ,too.''

Nothing more honest than an animal, in fact, I think it's an insult to animals to call some people animals, I just call them sub human.

Well that's telling how it is,lovely!! xx

They haven't met my bear of a German shepherd, who hides my slippers, runs off with my glasses, pinches my gloves and steals the biscuits. He is calming down now, by the time he is an old dog he will be very well behaved,

Sounds like my dog! he hasn't pinched my glasses yet but bit my Oxymeter and I had to buy a new one! He 'bagged' his first rabbit at 6 months old and has had a few pheasants, there's a pheasant running around here without a tail poor thing! you could say he was a pheasant plucker or something like that! :D X

He's never met a dog like mine yet then! My Rex has been ripping his bedding up for three years now! I know I could do with some advice from a dog whisperer as I'm running out of things for him to shred! :D X

The kennels have refused to have him because he is so destrutive. When we left him two years ago, they had to ring us to come home, he had eaten through his trap door, eaten all the guide ropes so they couldn't open the other trap doors for the dogs to go out in their runs, and pulled the water pipes down so they had no water. We have not been anywhere since then because of the dog and my husbands illness.

I have told my husband, let's find a kennel that doesn't know him, go on holiday and leave them the wrong 'phone number. Only kidding, no we love him to bits and what with him indoors illness and a barmy dog and not being able to go on holiday I am stressed out. I would not swap him for a million pounds, the dog I mean, I wouldn't swap my husband either as I do not under any circumstances want another man as the one I have drives me mad.

Amazing what we teach our dogs without knowing they can outsmart their owners before they know whats happening then spend a life time training us.

I'd like the name and address of the hotel as I reckon it needs promoting!
