copd emphysems chronic broch
Hi 123podmore
Having a lung condition can really take it out of you, if you are coughing a lot and are breathless this uses up a lot more calories.
Has this tiredness come on quickly, or over a longer period of time? Have you managed to speak to your GP?
If you have recently been unwell or had an exacerbation then feeling tired and lethargic can be a common after effect.
It may well be worth speaking to your GP, you can always give us a call here at the helpline - 03000 030 555.
Cheers
Jo

thank you very much
I know how you feel, I have been up since 8.30 and apart from putting some washing in and having 2 pieces of toast I have just sat here, I am due to go to Breathe Easy this afternoon and I am sure I will enjoy it when there it is just the effort of getting up there and getting dressed, I never used to be like this not really sure why it has changed over the last few months. I bought a treadmill and was really pleased with it but have not been on it for a few weeks now can't seem to get the motivation. I am hoping the better weather (when it comes) will help.
