hi binlid, lung function test should not be hard. 4 weeks smoke free is fab, keep up the good work and before you know it, it will be four months. then the longer you dont smoke the easier it gets til eventually you dont even think about smoking. all the best for the future.

Hi, it's just blowing into a machine, as hard and fast as you can the results define what stage your at ie mild moderate,or severe. You should ask for a copy of the test result then you can do your own research when you get home.

Hope this helps

Congratulations on being on your 4th week of not smoking, I am either in week 5 or 6, lost count now :)

lung function tests are not hard, you only blow as hard as you can, good luck with those too, do tell us how you get on

Stopped smoking after 40 years ... and then worry about blowing into a machine! Don't worry, you've already dome the hardest bit of the lot - stopping!

Lung function is like a breathalyser ... except you can keep your licence!

Get them to explain, in detail, what the results mean.

Well done and good luck!
