That's strange l was thinking of him today as well. l am a bit baffled as to what happened it must have been pretty bad as he's such a strong person. l bet he also misses writing on the blogs.

I'm adding my comments to the rest Gordon. I miss your sage advice and wise counsel. The site is poorer without you. I hope you are feeling better and that you come back soon.

Thank you all, your kind thoughts are appreciated
I don't want to go into the why's and wherefore's regarding my lack of posting as much has been said on the topic already and I don't see the point of repeating it. I am, as many people know, still looking in and answering private messages on here.
I will add an update post in the new year when I get the results of my bone scan, which was only done a week or so ago. I'm about to start PR (at last) this week after having to abort the start of the sessions before, when I was down with a heavy cold on top of a chest infection. I've to have my annual spiro test next week, although it will be the first for 4 years at my GP's as I wasn't able to have them through being on antibiotics every time they booked it!
I'm having a real battle trying to get my lottery winnings out of Camelot. I wrote to them about it and they replied to say I had not won anything. I've sent another letter pointing out that it's their fault they keep pulling the wrong numbers out - I'm waiting to hear back from them ...
So good to hear from you Gordon, we really miss you. Good luck with the PR, I found beneficial. Stay well and have a lovely Christmas,x
Hope you will benefit from the PR sessions. I've just completed the 7 week course and know that I have come forward consideraby, both physically and in my confidence to cope with life's little demands which we used to take for granted.
Good to hear from you again.
Keep your chin up Gorden and hope you feeling better soon.keep warm.keep cheerfull..keep wrighting on here...keep intouch..and last but not least keep smileing.and take care.xx

Only Gordon could shrug off a bone scan and end on a joke. Can't do fb or pms so much love and all the best to Krazylady Perce and Gordon and thanks for the post Lynne to help us all to hear he's ok
I miss him to I have not been in here long but for the short time I have been a member Gordon has helped me in a couple of things. whish he would come back, Think about it Gordon pleeeease.
Good to hear that you are on the PR at last, good to see you posting! Let me know if you have any success with Camelot! Take good care, TAD x
Had my PR assessment this morning. Loads of questions, all answered. Medication listed, even the D3 I get myself. Did a walk test, think I made it about 30 metres in all, and was pushing it at that. I'll be starting PR around the end of January, date to be confirmed. 2 x 2 hour sessions a week for 14 weeks at our hospital.
As for Camelot, still no letter from them but I've a ticket for tonight's big Euro draw and one for Saturday's Lotto - we'll have to see if they can manage to find my numbers in the machine.
