Our Breathe Easy group is having a table in the foyer of the Library in the morning the Respiratory nurses will be doing lung function tests.

Then in the afternoon the B.E. group are at the local hospital raising awareness, there will be a selection of leaflets for people to take if they are interested and we will be handing out lots of cards with BLF details on.

I had no idea it was International COPD day on 4th November. Gillyj is right that it is far too short notice to actually do anything. Surely this is a very, very poor example of raising awareness. :(

Hi Anne!

It is indeed World COPD Day tomorrow. There are events going on all over the country organised by Breathe Easy groups. I see from your profile you're based near Salisbury - I've checked with the South West office and there are no events going on there this year but if you'd like to get involved with the group in the future have a look at their page: blf.org.uk/BreatheEasy/Deta...

I hope that's of some help, please get in touch if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Vicky
