Bad Again..

Have another chest infection and 02 in dropping and heart rates climbing grrrr

Ohh please not again am so sick of constantly going into resp failure every 3 or 4 weeks.. I'm exhausted breathing rubbish and fed up....

Thank you Everyone, Have increased the neb but 02 dopping to 82 % grrrrr

Oh Ali, what are your doctors doing about these repeated crises with your health? Is there a plan to prevent these constant downturns?

Sorry to say it sweetheart but it sounds to me like you should be in hospital where you can be properly monitored.

I may have asked you this before but why don't you get a second opinion from a specialist hospital. I am worried about you xxx

I have seen so many docs babe each contradict the last, they drive me nuts my family lodged a formal complaint after all the rubbish for months am still waiting to see the cardiologist have been since june... They now seem to think its not the lung disease that's making me bad although it isn't helping but the acute chronic asthma and that am allergic to well ....... life haha

Although that's rubbish as it is the constant chest infections that cause me to hit the deck soooo pppft I give up...

Just know there is a 3 - 4 week pattern always the same starts with a chest infection then the cough then can't breathe at all then collapse go into respiratory failure then rushed to resus then they get me stable after around a week I come home and within 3 - 4 weeks here we go again...

I am drained xxx

Jeez Ali, I know it's a long trip for you but please get yourself referred to RBH, it's a specialist heart AND lung hospital so I am sure it would be the very best place for you. You could get there & back in one day if a relative drove you, or they can arrange overnight accommodation for pts who can't make it in one day. You need drs who really know their stuff xxx

Am seing Gp this friday will have a word with her.. She already knows I am not happy so she may refer me after months of getting knowhere x

You're entitled to be referred to any hospital you wish. I go there, why shouldn't you? RBH will take a referral direct from your gp, it doesn't have to be from another hospital. I know that cos a friend on the bronch site got referred by her gp when she wasn't happy with her local hospital. Good luck Ali, you deserve a bit of it xxx
