Might take dogs out later.

:( hope not polly

We've got thunder east of Carlisle and Brampton has had some power cuts. Weird because all around us have had heavy storms but we have just rumbles of thunder and a bit of rain. Luckily got a walk round the tarn in this morning.

Hope the power cuts don't last too long.

I live in South Satffordshire and we have had none, just a couple of showers. Our son and DIL live a bit further north (45 minutes by car) and they have had torrential rain, thunder, lightening, hail etc.

No thunder or lightning in my corner of West Yorks but as for rain ...................... it's been pouring for the last half hour and the skies were dark, but it's over now and much 'fresher' :)

Well I don't know but a bloke called Noa just floated by on a barge thing with an awful lot of pets onboard, are that many pets allowed?

No Gordon you get a back up cylinder in the case of the electric being off. Val

Hope all are seeing some dry sunny spells now.

Yes brighter now zoe :)

No battery back up Gordon. Just need to transfer to a massive cylinder kept for that very purpose.

Ha ha Gordon ! :)

Yes it is the very same Stitch. Went to school there and grew up nearby. It's a lovely walk because it's so level but I found another path today which took me a little higher. Just been back to Talkin for dinner and the rivers are really big, but where I live it's been relatively dry. The vagaries of Cumbrian weather!

The alarm on my concentrator woke me up this morning and for a brief moment before I came to my senses I thought the house was on fire. Haven't moved so fast for ages, till I realised what was happening - panic over.
