Thankyou lovley I just felt it was right to take it ... Only the antibiotics if still rough tomorrow will start steroids....I hate feeling this miserable π
Hi ive just read about you will strat your steroids if still feeling unwell. My consultant has told me never to take them again & instead he gave me a nebuliser which has made a huge difference for me, Iβve gone from having 8 plus exasperations a year to 3 ( still got till November before itβs a full year). At a recent review hes now reduced my Azithromycin to 3 days a week from every day & hes gave me a salt solution to inhale
Sorry your feeling so badGlad you have started taking the antibiotics but do take the prednisone also. They really are required when your feeling so I'll. Hope you will start to feel better real soon. Blessings and love xxx
Thankyou β€οΈ I can't drink the whisky anymore sadly even for medicinal reasons....even the smell makes me squeamish after a very heavy night on the stuff about 10 years ago π€’π€’π
oh no! Iβm sorry youβre feeling so poorly. My theory is that if youβre not ill very often, you actually feel it worse when you are. I think you were right to start your rescue pack, but if you still feel as bad tomorrow, maybe try to get a drs appointment - I know, easier said than done.
I'm hoping I will feel better by tomorrow... I'm on a pet sit at the moment till around 4 ish then I'm off home ... it's worse when you feel rubbish and your not at home π₯°
It's been really warm and sunny here today but even going out to walk the dogs I was shivering but also could my temperature rising ... roll on tomorrow π
sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly. I started my rescue pack in the week as I felt rough and am feeling so much better now. It stared to get better within 24 hours of taking the antibiotics, I hope you begin to feel better very soon.
I think the drastic change in weather hasnβt helped
Hi, Ooooooh yes, fully sympathise with you. You have done the right thing in starting the rescue pack, and so quickly too. Have you done a Covid test ?
Rest, and hope you feel very much better before too long.
Glad to hear youβre feeling a bit better, hopefully even more so today. That can be the trouble when you donβt get ill very often, canβt it. When you do, it can knock you for six. Hope youβre back up and striding round the Forest with your doggy companions very soon. They canβt keep a dog-walker down for long π
Hi , blackbird , I hope youβre feeling better . Iβm currently the same and drinking plenty herbal lemon and ginger tea with extra lemon juice . Iβm not sure if itβs actually improving anything but I definitely feel better for a while after a cup and Iβm Iβm not getting any worse xx
That's such good news and pleased to hear you have shrugged this of so quickly, you must have the constitution of a horse. It's all that fresh air and exercise and no pollution where you live. Still take it easy for a few days our bodies sometimes need a rest after a knock with infection x
Sending you hugs bb. Hope Sadie is giving you cuddles. I think itβs the cold weather. I felt rough yesterday. I was very tired, falling asleep and felt π€take care xx
Sorry that you're feeling so poorly and I think that you are wise to start your emergency pack rather than waiting to see if it gets any worse. Treat yourself to a duvet day and binge watch some TV to distract yourself. Hopefully someone is there to make you hot drinks etc.
So sorry to hear that, I do sympathise as I was exactly the same last week- had to take to my bed for 3 days. Now left breathless and head full of catarrh and canβt think straight. Itβs absolutely horrible!!
Iβve contacted my GP surgery to see if I could have the RSV vaccine but apparently you canβt have them after 70. Iβll be 81 this yearβ¦β¦.
It's a pack of steroids and a pack of antibiotics that you keep at home so if you feel rough of a weekend you can start taking them hope that helps π
Know the feeling Blackbird9, I had to do the same thing three weeks ago and now on the second set antibiotics. It's so easy to forget how ill one can become, those symptoms that drag us down, it is a horrible feeling to have.Hope things are looking up for you and you are on the road to recovery π€π€
