Good luck Katie, been down that road to often sinse 2020 - Hope everything is Ok.
Hi Katie. I'm sorry I have not kept up with your news as I'm not on here much, but I hope the doctor's visit will be fruitful and goes smoothly. Sending you very best wishes. xx
Hi Cas, thank you for reply. I am going to the hospital not the doctors for results of multi disciplinary teams decision. But you will understand what I am saying. The suggestion is it is Lung & Kidney cancer. Had a cancer removed August last year but not a spreader one so its been a long year of stress. Hope you are keeping well and hows your mum these days ? Every best wish xx
Goodness me Katie I am truly sorry to hear this. I can well understand the worry as my mum had a bit of a scare last year. It was terribly stressful. Mum is frail but she still goes out everyday. She is usually chipper although I know at times she doesn't feel so. Please do take care too and I will keep up with your posts. Much love to you. xx π»
Many thanks for your reply Cas understand what you mean about trying to remain chipper . I just hope on Wednesday they come up with sensible outcomes taking into account my age and other health issues. These things are stressful at any age as you know. We can only take each day as it comes, will be letting the others know how it went later in the week. Take care xx
Still waiting to find out if I have cancer or not. Been three months since I first went to the doctor. Still don't have an answer. Got second biopsy done.
Hopefully what they tell you is good and positive, and most importantly of all, not uncertain.
That's a long wait but thats how long it does take to get varied tests done . Having had pet scans it should not be doubtful . I just hope theres no more tests needed my grandaughter can't keep taking me to hospital on ad hoc basis even though we are gratefull for the later appointments and fast response . As you say its the uncertainty. I've been having tests since January but that's quick as its cancer. If another referral I would not of been seen yet possibly. Will let you know how things go . Heres Hoping yours will be sorted pronto.
Good luck and don't forget to take your list of questions that you only ever remember once the appointment has finished! πxx

Good luck at your appointment Katie. I hope and pray for good news for you.
Hope all goes well x
Good morning katieoxo60. I hope everything goes well for you next Wednesday and it puts your mind at rest. I have my pre op now for my 1st cataract surgery on the 7th of June. After sorting out the rubbish service. A young sounding guy rang me about my operation from the NHS booking system and said I would have to wait for it to be done on the nhs. Because I had a pacemaker. When I rang back to query it and spoke to a lady she said I should have been asked when I last had my pacemaker check up and Because it was less than 6 months ago I could have it done privately. Hope everything goes well for you. Brian
Good to hear they are pressing on with your cataract op. Our local hospital is a six month wait but the private clinic is doing it quicker its still NHS , I am going on Tuesday to have pre op tests before my other appointment on Wednesday re my biopsy result. Busy week as I have a man coming to do some odd jobs tomorrow. Hope all goes well for you too .
