Sorry to read today has been a struggle for you and must of been a very traumatic time..
I’m guessing you know all breathing techniques but when I’ve had a bad day struggling to breathe I sit in a quiet room at home and do some pursed lips breathing, and breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth through pursed lips whilst listening to some calm music and this helps me to breathe a bit easier.. hope this helps.
I fully understand the bittersweet feeling of your daughter's birthday. I had a ruptured uterus and emergency caesar with my son, it was very close to losing us both.
I tend to have a cry and then remind myself that we are OK. As far as breathing goes, I do all the techniques that we are taught, but also try to do something like a game on my phone, a jigsaw, just something to distract.
Hi, sorry your feeling down and breathing really troubling you. Did you know about the small fan trick of putting it in front of your nose when your struggling, it tickles the little hairs in your nose and stimulates you to breath. Worked a treat for my mum and me. 😉
