I love the stags, I live near Woburn and theirs plenty of them around that way, I also love photography and have taken a few on my camera, never seen a white one though, would love to get a few shots of that one, your lucky in the right place at the right time, as they say π
How wonderful Bb! What a beautiful creature he is! I wonder if his ladies consider themselves a cut above the others who just belong to standard coloured stagsπ
Glad you have finally managed to see him and capture his image for us, too x
There apparently is a family line and they are around but seen very rarely which is strange given that they are white and would stand out in the forest greens... the others camouflage themselves quite well when they need to ...but was definitely an honour catching him and my phone camera is not great so was happy to see a nice picture β€
Lovely. So glad you saw him. We used to have white deer in Epping Forest. I don't know if they're still there or if the traffic has got them. New Forest is a much better place for them xxx
Oh wow! Brought tears to my eyes. How amazing that you were able to see such a mythical, majestic beast. Thankyou so much for sharing. Yet another reason for me to visit the New Forest again this year. Trying to organise our main summer holiday at the moment. We love the hippy vibes and heat of Ibiza.
Oh my goodness didn't mean to make you cry ... but I admit I shed a few when I saw him ...I love going abroad for some sunshine and proper sea swimming...π₯°
It was just a couple of happy tears. π I love gazing out to sea but a fish phobia hampers swimming in it.π€£ Even have a struggle with boats but managed the local ferry in Ibiza last year!
