I’ve had a crackle in my lung when exhaling for over a month now. I took my antibiotics rescues pack but it’s still there.
Any thoughts please.

I had one that was persistent for months and months. It drove me mad when I lay down in bed at night as it was all I could hear.
My consultant prescribed Carbosisteine and that seemed to do the trick. Or it may have been coincidence, of course.
Keeping hydrated is important too.
Hope you manage to get rid of it as it may not make you feel too bad, but can be infuriating.

Do u do lung clearance sessions
Best wishes. I hope it goes soon.
You need to get this checked out. My crackling turned out to be Pulmonary Fibrosis.Once you know the cause, you can then begin to get help to deal with it.
I too had a crackle some years ago which became permanent. It needed a series of deeper investigations to identify that is wasn’t something that antibiotics were expected to cure. So - first step - seek your doctor’s advice. (And good luck getting an appointment; you might need to be gently persistent).
For what it’s worth, subsequent medication solved my crackle; I’ve got other things, but not that now.
then you. Was carbocisteine one of them
