Interesting Dave.We are staying in Kings Cross, London for a few days, went to an Indian restaurant that we visited last February and the remembered us. We were showered with free popadoms and complimentary liqueurs after.....and they wouldn't accept a tip. Amazing for London

I've got no other option really crying screaming shouting and hitting things aren't going to change anything and according to the oncologist I haven't got to deal with it for too long . Unfortunately it's the bottom line .

Yes I agree completely. We can all wear a mask to hide how we feel inside it's the best way of dealing with the big stuff. I've done my share of crying and some I'm going to enjoy this birthday I think it may be the last one I get if oncologist is right

Sometimes we need to cry and it’s good to be honest and let stuff out but it’s good to know we can laugh and smile too. It really helps lots!
I have lots going on atm and the last few weeks have been a bit hard but today I had a proper giggle and it helped lots…even just for a bit x

I won't argue with any of that , I don't know how I've actually held it all together I'm alone in a strange country yes I've made friends but I have no family around me but I have one secret weapon my family on here . There's always something crazy going on , and it gets crazier when Wonderboy and myself are on a roll 😂😂 mind you we do have matching straight jackets 😂😂

Great to discover it's not just the big churches. A friend and I enjoyed a feast day at the chapel of St Raphael outside Lachania around September 2007 , with the procession into town, the roads spread with leaves, and a big feast in the school grounds with kebabs you paid very little for just to cover the costs. Magical.
I was brought up in the Roman Catholic Church, the finder of lost things was St Anthony of Padua.St Jude was the Saint of impossible causes.
Good job the weather's hot. St. Antony sounds a useful chap to know, though I think he'd be tearing his hair out trying to find things in this house.🙃🙃🤪🤪🤪

When my daughter lived in Tenerife they had a house built right up on the tops, they had a little villiage hall and always had some festival or other going on, it was really lovely. I used to go over 4 times a year so managed to catch quite a few of them. It always ran into the evening where they had food and music playing, it brings a community together, shame we have lost this in the UK x
