ive got no faith in drs and nurses any more. I rang up friday wanting to speak to a nurse practioner no call back rang yesterday fou d she gone on holiday and eont be back.umtil next week. So I thought and try the nurse who does my asthma check up and get her to ring me no joy rang surgery they said they have passed the message on but they not picking them up. She also said that they wish that the nurses just send a message to them asking them to ring the patient up just to tell got delayed but will ring as soon as they got a minute instead of leaving the patient in limbo . 😡

So sorry to read about your continuing problems. Does your surgery have a Patient Access Group or a Patient Panel? My surgery has been awful in the way it cares for patients since Covid started. Now our Patient Panel is starting up again and we can challenge the practice about that.

Hello Pipswhips , it is a bit hit and miss with surgeries and it can become anxiety provocking if you are ringing and getting nowhere. My surgery used to have a patient panel but not sure its still going , but I receive a family &patients survey each time I contact them , it comes up on Facebook and my mobile phone., for comments on experience with the surgery. If you are on line with your surgery you should be able to email about this phone service on this occcassion as its administration matters not medical. Still does not solve what ever your medical problem was though does it ?
