Happy birthday Sheila. Glad you had a lovely day. I don't know what Boba tea is I'm afraid. I've led a sheltered life😂. What is it so I can add it to my bucket list 😄
Your best bet is to ask Caspiana as its a Japanese fruit drink. Its complicated. Its Green tea with different flavours of fruit. It's in a syrup and also little soft balls of syrup .
Lots of different flavours. Even have a chocolate milk one. I'll add a photo. .
They look fab 😁 and yummy but unfortunately I would have to give the Boba tea a miss as, being diabetic, it would raise my glucose levels off the scale . Nevermind I would have a gin and slimline tonic instead 😁xx
Happy Birthday Sheila, same day as our son-in-law. You look lovely and as stylish as ever. Glad you had a lovely day. Lots of love and hugs, Carole xxx🌺🌸🌹🌞🌻🎂🤗🥰
Lovely photo Sheila, you certainly know how to coordinate colour and accessories to look so spectacular. I hope you found Cardiff to have left behind the doom and gloom of the pandemic and found shops opening once again with confidence. I still miss those lovely department stores like Mackross, Marments, Seccombes, James Howell and David Morgan, John Lewis is the only one left now. Their Christmas windows were fabulous and so exciting and Christmas shopping was something to look forward to. You obviously had a lovely 78th birthday with your family so here's wishing you a happy healthy year full of fun, happiness and good health until its time to celebrate your next birthday.
Thank you. I love Cardiff as Swansea is really bad with so many shops closed. Quadrant dead since Debenhams closed. Had a fab day with the family especially my Granddaughter as she is my World. Lots of love xxSheila 💕⚘
Hi roadrunner , your reply brought back some memories ….I was born and brought up in Cardiff , remember the days before pedestrianisation. We still have my late mother’s wedding dress wrapped in a Marments bag .
One of my first purchases with money I earned myself was a pair of shoes from Howells .
My daughters graduation ceremony was in St David ‘s Hall , I had to wheeze my way to the top tier of seats .
Hi Knitter, So lovely to be in touch with a Cardiffian! Yes I remember Cardiff before pedestrianisation too and travelled to the city centre by trolly bus. Cardiff has seen many changes but is a beautiful city with wonderful parks and green spaces. I lived in the Pontcanna area for a while but have now moved to The Vale of Glamorgan. Before the pandemic I was a fairly regular visitor to St. David's Hall and enjoyed many live productions. My friend and I will be visiting St.Fagans museum next week, another wonderful place to spend a few hours. You mention you were born and grew up in Cardiff but do you still live there or have you moved from the land of song?Cheers.
Big problem is,all the diversions and bus lanes .we think we were caught on a bus lane as so confusing. We have decided not to drive there again and go by train, as we are Positive we were in a bus Lane by mistake for a few yards. It really is confusing and cameras everywhere. Waiting for the fine to arrive. Spoiks the day out. Apparently they have collected over 2 million pounds on these fines ...ridiculous. xxSheila 🚙🚙🚙🚙💕⚘
When they pedestrianised a large town near me, it was an hilarious first am. They reversed the one way system, so as you drove over the bridge, could no longer follow the road sort of rightish of straight on, but had to turn left. I had commuted early mornings across that bridge for about 3 years. The first am just about all of us crossed the bridge, and went straight on, across a line of traffic (never there before) coming the other way. For the first couple of mornings, everyone just looked, giggled and shrugged their shoulders, and we all let everyone reverse etc, no hooting of horns at all. Glad you had a good day out, look lovely as usual.
My daughter lives in Pontcanna RR and i love this little place, so many lovely little cafes, bakers, butchers and really nice neighbours and so close to the city you can walk there in minutes. It has alot going for it x
I dont like ordinary green tea but this is different .Its a Japanese drink and absolutely delicious. You can choose different flavours. Shops just opened here in UK. xxSheila 💕⚘
Yes we learn something new every day even at my age .My Granddaughter teaches me so much as she is in to all the new things .I taught her Mum and her now they teach me lol xx Sheila 🤣🍾⚘💕
You have a very nice sense of style, age-appropriate, yet youthful at the same time. Happy belated birthday to you!
Just want to say that I could not find your post in answer to my question of a while back.
I really got myself into a maze, trying to navigate through "Health Unlocked". I found postings from months ago from you and various other members but could not find that specific one. I just need to get used to how it all works.
However, it's really of no consequence, as I think that I did find the answer, anyway, from one of your older postings! It's no doubt the book "The Secret". I love to read and it's definitely the type of book that I think I would enjoy!
Keeping a good outlook on life is essential even when dealing with some tough situations. I, myself, believe in the "glass half-full" approach rather than the "glass have empty"one. I do believe, that to a certain extent, anyway, we can manifest better situaltions for ourselves. So, I look forward to sending away for the book!
I'm so glad that you had a good day with your family as well as having a memorable birthday and may you have many more.

Hello Lemon 7, I accidentally sent my comment to you. It was meant for Garshe. However, I wish you a happy birthday also on whatever day that happens to be. Sorry for the mistake.
There are many books re The Secret and I believe all beneficial. Until you find Gratitude you wont find peace and happiness.. we should be grateful for everything we have. Although I have severe COPD which limits me quite a lot I am grateful for the things I can do and dont concentrate on what I cant. If you can picture it ,it will happen Hope you find the books ,they are on Amazon.
Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine xxSheila ⚘💕👍🙌
Yes, I have located them in the bookstore that I always buy my books from. Reading, just in itself, is soothing and calming and my favorite pastime. Thank you, you have a lovely day also. We had a very hot day over here! Leva🌞 Hope things have cooled down in Britain!
Hi Sheila, I live in Oregon on the West Coast of the U.S. In my opinion, Oregon has some of the best weather in the country. We do get some hot days in July and August and the weather is cool in winter, but all and all, it's a moderate climate! Lots of rain in winter but it keeps Oregon nice and green.
We do get forest fires almost every year as we have lots of forests and mountainous areas. Climate change is making this worse and the weather does seem a little more unpredictable than it used to be, but then that is being seen everywhere now! Still, it's a good place to live!
I hope you continue to have some nice, sunny days in U.K. 🌞
