Hi all. Has anyone tried one of these respiratory training devices.

They are around £50 to £60 so wondered if anyone had any experience of them before I pay out for one.

Thanks.

Ps I have asthma and emphysema. Can still do most things though.

Hi gazza02, have you asked your GP or respritory nurse for a flutter valve they do help with same thing and cost nothing. Hope this helps have a good evening and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻

Hi, I bought a powerbreathe some time ago .Its said to help strengthen breathing muscles .

I found it hard to use and gave up.

Other devices help clear the chest of secretions ,

For UK residents there is a helpline open during the working week .

I wonder if they could advise . I know some devices are not suitable for everyone
