U should really talk to yr ventilation team
Hi Linjones, your igo2 concentrator is a pulse dose machine, it does have a fixed dose feature, but even that is not suitable for sleeping with especially not using with BiPAP, for sleeping and BiPAP connection you need a oxygen concentrator that uses Continuous Flow oxygen delivery, Pulse Dose and Fixed Dose machines are not suitable for sleeping and a definitely not for BiPAP use.
Pulse Dose works by detecting a pulse when you breathe and at sleep your breathing and pulse are not as strong, Fixed Dose is also not suitable sleeping with, I have the Inogen One G5 which is similar to the igo2 and that is marked on the concentrator Not Suitable for Sleeping.
I hope I have been some help.
Ian.
