We had a lovely Christmas Day Chris , didn’t see any neighbours but had dinner with the grandson, wife and grandchild - us in the dining area and Geoff 20 feet away in the kitchen 😂 (luckily hes much more comfortable standing at the kitchen counter whilst eating ) Played suitable socially distanced games in a well ventilated room for an hour ( throwing sponge balls at targets on each other’s heads 😂) and a quiz that none of us knew the answers to and then waved goodbye and spent the rest of the day lounging in front of the tv surrounded by chocolate, I knew Geoff was a bit wary of having people over but he really enjoyed it and it seems to have done him good 😃Perfect ! Hope your enjoyed your day as much as we did xxxx

Hello Val, that sounds really good. Glad Geoff was able to join in the fun from a safe distance. I spent Christmas morning in the kitchen, then the afternoon recovering. I must try to get into my head that I'm not 30 any more, or 60, or even 70. Boxing Day is my day for relaxing and stuffing chocolate. Tomorrow a nice long walk, if it's not raining too hard. Enjoy the rest of the Christmas period. xxxx

I’ve spent today lounging on the settee only getting up to get chocolates and put together plates of buffet food for the two of us , I’ve fell fast asleep twice , something I never ever do 😱 (and not touched a drop of alcohol ) and to be honest I can’t wait to get back to my usual routine tomorrow I absolutely love the run up to Christmas , enjoy the two days then I’m itching to get the decs down , get rid of all the surplus food and get back to normal 😂 xx
