Has anyone been told that they don’t have any signs of pericarditis or effusion but has been left with breathing and lung function not as good as before falling unwell with this awful condition ? I was told a few weeks ago that my treatment was successful and my heart is completely back to normal size and function but I struggle with breathlessness and a very uncomfortable tight feeling in my chest , walking upstairs or uphill always brings it on, sometimes it wakes me at night . I’m waiting to hear from my gp about 2 weeks of peak flow readings she requested . My cardiologist had assured me that my breathing problems are not cardiac so that’s a relief. I have a dual chamber for tachycardia bradycardia and heart pauses ,, I take bisoprolol for my tachycardia

Try walking slower try ward off problems.i take bisoprolol with no probs but blockers can cause coughing+ breathing probs in some people
