Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences. It is good to know that I am not the only one that has had lots of "advice" and I am not being stubborn or closed minded if I do not take it. It is sad that so many of us have had friends give up on us because we don't get better. Thank goodness for you all here. Sometimes it's nice to be around people who you don't need to explain everything to.

Very wise words Bizylizy, I lost all of my friends near me except one, and I'm so grateful for still having her in my life. But it's lovely and comforting to well have each other on this wonderful site. Have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕

I'm glad everyone helped. I have heard other people say that friends have turned their back on them and I think that is really sad. I have a very critical friend who never believes anyone is ill till a doctor says that they are ill. She always knows someone who is worse than me, which I have never got as I don't feel illness is a competition! She is sometimes downright nasty. I have found avoiding her is best. I am lucky I have some lovely caring friends apart from her. Of course the help of those on here is great too. Carry on doing what you do and don't listen to other people, only you, your GP or consultant know what's best.

Not everyone with advice is against you or your doctor. But here in America our doctors are for profit not health so we have to find ways on our own to promote our own health and healing. Natural methods do help depending on what you’re doing.
