Yes of course it is held outside - but all the same I was surprised to see the attendance of 356,000.

I am sure someone will be talking about the Silverstone variant within a few days........

Hello Mike! I do hear what you're saying, and it does seem crazy on some levels ( I believe it is another of the government trials?) My son is there and he had to provide a negative test on entry, as of tomorrow will people even have to do that?! I see Boris and Sajid have had to give up on their "make - it - up - as -you - go" new trial and isolate like the rest of us........... Shame 😂😂 xx

I expect tomorrow they will say Javid’s PCR test was negative and it was all a ‘false alarm’ 😊

Re Silverstone - I am not opposed to events opening up. We do have to start living again. But I was surprised it was unlimited and the number attending was so large.

I was surprised at the figure you had, as my son said 100,000 and BBC website 140,000, full capacity!?? Still soooooo many people ….. xx

These types of events numbers are not trials, no way are all these people going to test and/go onto trace.... Its becoming a free for allSometimes makes me feel a bit down as I know these type of things have a knock on effect on services which myself & colleagues attend & care for. (this is not a feel sorry for me etc, just tired &, worry about my own health and knock on effect that I & *colleagues have to make the choice of isolating from our own families)Please do not reply to my own situation, not meaning to hijack thread & make it a me thing... I'm just trying to convey this madness will effect the lives of many types of NHS & care givers.. We have lost enough of this workforce already

Sounds like too many people to me. My brother in law, who lives near Silverstone, is concerned for his own and his wife's health.
