I am less than eight stone and eat some plain chocolate every day after lunch. I enjoy that but it doesn't make me fat!

I'm a little heavier but still in a healthy weight range, and enjoy 2 squares of dark chocolate after lunch too. Should be 60% + cocoa solids for the health benefits.

That does sound great but after several months on steroids I gained 2 stone in weight even though my eating did not increase and I just cannot seem to shift it even though I exercise every day so not sure I dare try it for fear of putting on even more weight. Will give it some more thought though.

The Sainsbury nearby has Tony's Chocolonely (my utted favourite) on offer at the mo. A whole whopping £1 off a big bar . I have no self discipline though so I won't do it 🙊 as I'm trying to lose the half stone I've put on since xmas (back pain has stopped me in my tracks). 😘🤗

I love the Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate. I first discovered it in Holland and was thrilled to find it’s available in the U.K. too. It’s fairtrade too so it’s all good 👍

I cant eat bought chocolate even the dark stuff due to controlling diabetes with diet. (Just had latest result which puts me just back into pre-diabetes after being normal.)

So I make a cake with almond flour, eggs and loads of organic cacao powder sweetened with a little erythritol. Very chocolately and very yummy.

What a great message. Thanks 2g. I do consume a lot of 90% dark chocolate a day but milk chocolate would be tastier. Might trial it. I don’t seem to weight gain either
